This was a last minute portrait session. Usually in December is when the high season arrives to the Caribbean and many people bring their family to spend their holidays in the warm waters of the Riviera Maya.
When Erika contacted me we were really close to the date of the photoshoot, but they were lucky and I had a spot just waiting for them ! This beautiful family from Canada chose Casa Mermaid in Puerto Morelos, to spend their holidays.
The location is perfect because it is right in front of the beach, surrounded by palm trees, flowers and coconuts.
The idea of these family portraits was to document one day of their vacation, to capture the joy of grandma playing with the kids and the parents happy for getting away from the cold.
